PATTERN OF A PLACE

Pattern of a Place is inspired by the floral motifs I found decorating tiles, walls and architectural details throughout Udaipur. I loved how flowers appeared again and again in different forms, surrounded by the colours of the city. This painting brings those details together through my own memories and interpretation – not recreating a particular pattern, but creating something new from the ones that stayed with me.
